Tegra 3 Quad Core Platform For Tablet PC

CEO and founder of Nvidia, Jen Hsun Huang has been announcing that there will be launched quad core platform Tegra 3. This Chip was officially called Kal-El, the name of kryptonian Clark Kent, the alter ego of superman figure.

Nvidia CEO also added later for the next series will be using the name Tegra of superhero comics. As we already know such as Wayne from Bruce Wayne (batman), Stark (Ironman) and several other superhero characters. From Nvidia's own has not yet officially announced the release schedule of Kal-El, but it seems that Asus will indirectly introduced along with the launch of its newest tablet PC, Transformers Prime on November 9, 2011. And of course this Transformer Prime tablet pc is already-based on Kal-El chip.

The latest Tegra chips made by Nvidia is apparently not only has 4 cores, but the latest news Nvidia has prepared 5 core and which surely will maximize the performance of the Tegra 3 later. Even though the Tegra 3 predicted will result in a high-performance, but Nvidia also promised this chip will give more power-efficient than its predecessor.
