HTC Edge, First Smartphone With Quad Core Tegra 3 Processor Release In Early 2012

HTC is seemingly preparing a new secret gadget for the market needs named HTC Edge. The rumors are HTC Edge is a first Smartphone that being armed with quad-core processor in the global market today.

Referring to sources leaked at Pocketnow, HTC's Edge was mentioned that it would be equipped with new Nvidia quad core chip, Tegra 3 processor running at 1.5 GHz speed.

Currently on Smartphone technology, NVIDIA dual core chip Tegra 2 processor is the most powerful processor for Android Smartphones on the worldwide market that offers a two-chip running at 1.5 GHz. We can tell that as a massive upgrade on Smartphone technology in the future would be represented by Nvidia quad-core chipset.

Entertainingly, beside armed with quad-core processor, HTC Edge also featuring a 4,7 inch HD screen display, 1GB Ram, and a high resolution 8 MP camera with LED Flash.

HTC Edge is estimated to be running Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich for its operating system.

This Smartphone is expected to be introduced early in 2012 at Mobile World Congress event. we will wait for its release on the market soon.
