Popcorn Hour A-200 or so called the PCHA -200 is a development version of a previous version PCH C - 200 from the same manufacturer . Media Center product will look casual glance because of the box casing is made less attractive by the plastic material which looks less robust . But do not judge by outward physical because of a price which is offered, the features and performance can be spelled quite riveting. This product is claimed to be able to play almost all existing HD video codecs, such as: Blu-ray, ISO, MKV, AVI and MP4 and FLAC audio support, DTS HD, Dolby True HD and many more that could be called as a standalone media player most complete. Unfortunately the package does not include the hard disk drive but you have to purchase separately.

When we tested for playing the 1080p HD movie with a large size screen, the media player can play well without constraint at all. Image to display clearly visible with a very smooth movement. This model also has an Ethernet port for easy transfer of files over the network and can be used as a media server at home. Another very interesting feature is a webservice which supports Internet radio and P2P and Usenet client software download.

Popcorn Hour's interface uses familiar HTML features and navigation prompts, so first-time users can quickly get up to speed on even the most advanced features. The standard remote control supports playback modes, such as play/pause and trickmodes, as well as simultaneous display of images and playback of audio tracks.
