The WiFi connection security in several HTC smartphones is threatened by the discovery of bug (software defects). The Wi-Fi security bug that allows any application to access permissions ACCESS_WIFI_STATE (similar notification of the application before you install), which not only checks the status of WiFi, but also get access password code WiFi is. 

The HTC smartphones  which are  reported to have a bug are 
  • HTC Desire HD,
  • HTC T-Mobile MyTouch 4G, 
  • HTC Desire S, 
  • HTC Sensation, 
  • HTC EVO 3D, 
  • HTC DROID Incredible and 
  • HTC Thunderbolt 4G. 
The HTC engineer has been  responding to these software bug and  claimed that  HTC has found the software defect solution, although still limited to a mobile phone. But the other software defect  solutions mentioned will be provided manually, through the facilities update. 

For information, a bug was found in the related WiFi September 2011 by a pair of security researchers, who then contact Google and HTC. However, since it kept up to date, in which several solutions have been found. If you are the owner of a HTC smart phone which has the bug problem, please just visit the HTC website starting next week.Who knew the HTC is providing a solution to patch the defective update.
