Addonics unveiled a new Cipher Drive SC model CDSC-02 to encrypt the portable hard disk drive. It’s a HD enclosure with integrated smart card reader with keypad.

This CDSC-02 come with 256-bit AES full disk hardware encryption to full protect your data and the PIN with admin password for administrative mode. This cipher support 2.5-inch SATA HDD and available using USB 2.0 or Firewire 800 interface. The price of CDSC-02 around $439 or you can get Cipher Drive SC with 500GB bundle (DFSC500-02) with price $499.95.
