Microsoft notes that Windows 8 will run on hardware that is currently on the market, while the PC with touchscreen capability will be required to integrate the upcoming five fingers.
The ' Fundamental Motion ' which Microsoft introduced earlier this year will not need more than two fingers. The movement gives the basic control over the performance of the interface, slide, selection, zooming, rotation and applications/systems command.
Although only two fingers that are required to perform core functions, Microsoft acknowledges the take two fingers ' movements can be very limiting ' application-specific applications. To avoid these limitations, Windows 8 will allow developers to use the hardware movement five fingers as input for application.
The reason Microsoft explain this direction is in response to the input from the developers, Microsoft managers ' write in the blog. ' The developers do not want to limit their creativity and they wanted to be free to use multi-touch gestures of the fingers. '
Some of the touchscreen on Windows 7 computer have some problems, such as problems of a swipe file to select, shift the movement and the movement of the edge of the slide.
HTC One X indeed have not been released to the global market. This new HTC smartphone will be release in Canada first soon. There has been a HTC One X with dual-core Snapdragon chipset S4 performance benchmark result on the Andriod Central. This benchmark is done by a AT & T guy which had a pre release version of HTC One X smartphone.
The benchmark score for HTC One X leaves Galaxy Tab and Nexus far ahead. The Benchmark score HTC One X was quite surprising.
Just look at benchmark results where the score of HTC One X is about 4952, lead ahead from the Galaxy Tab and Nexus that has score of around 2600.
Also in the Velamo benchmark, HTC One X score is much higher nearly 2500. We can see that HTC One X is still in the top score of the closest competitor, Asus Transformers Prime tablet powered with Tegra 3 that has a score of below 1500. It seems that dual core processor still best optimized with Android.
Lately Microsoft has open a challenge for it’s competitor to see who could perform a task with their smartphone, faster. It is called Smoked By Windows Phone.
For the challenge,Smoked By Windows Phone, Microsoft was offering cash prizes to those who could win the challenge. As reported that at Mobile World Congress 2012, Microsoft Windows Phone still dominated majority challenge tasks but not all.
Then there was Sahas Katta with his Galaxy Nexus running Android 4 challenged the Smoked By Windows Phone campaign at the tradeshow floor to Microsoft's retail stores.
The challenge is which OS could pull up two different cities weather faster. And Katta is already prepared with this challenge by disabled the lock screen on his Galaxy Nexus.
All Sahas Katta do was only pushed the power button to start home screen, which had two different weather applications running with two different cities. But the Microsoft store employee had to take two steps: Press the button to wake the screen, and then slide-to-unlock to get to the home screen. The result was Katta won the challenge with simple reason, that two steps takes longer than one, plain and simple.
But on the other side, the Microsoft store employees refused to accept Katta's win, eventually claiming that he was supposed to show the results of two different cities in two different states.
However the Katta took a complain about this unfair challenge result to Twitter and Microsoft's Windows Phone champion, Ben Rudolph, reached out and offered Katta a rematch, and later, a free laptop and Windows Phone for his tribulations.
Microsoft wants to show off to the people that it’s platform is light enough. For the contest to be 100% fair, the challenger should be the one suggesting the challenge, and both phones should have the same start position (i.e., either both have lock screens enabled or neither of them do).
We can tell that this challenge context is which OS could perform a task faster, not by step by step of running a task. It is fair to show the speed in accessing primary features on a smartphone, whether no lock screen or not.
But in the case of Smoked By Windows Phone Challenge above, Microsoft is already losing, whether lock screen enabled or not, it is up to users as long it is comfortable.
As we all already know from this some apps on Android use more than twice the power they actually need because the apps are running ads on background. In this issue is the Angry Birds application is included which uses 70 percent of battery power to uploading information and downloading ads.
However the Angry Birds Space is not the only apps for battery life issues, it is just a common example simply because it has more popularity. Many expert says that paid apps on Android will make longer battery life but on the other side don't make much money in Google Play, because with free version-with-ads apps running is intended to be much more profitable but it sacrifices the battery life of Android smartphone to the end user.
Advertising delivery for Angry Birds is done by Google (Rovio cannot influence this), so any reduction of mobile ad-associated signaling will have to be done by Google, not Rovio. The strategy then, is to offer both paid and free versions on Google Play. That's exactly what Rovio is doing, but it's fairly clear that nobody should expect huge money from the paid version.
Google can build an ecosystem of consumers willing to spend their money directly, both the company and Android developers will be forced to depend on advertising revenue. In the meantime, Android users would be well-advised to save more battery life.
But lately it turned out that not all new iPad users gets maximum satisfaction. As reported on MacRumors and community support in Apple's official website, some users complained about the presence of the heat issues on new iPad tablet.
They said that on the left bottom of the new iPad feels slightly warm when used in a long time. It is hotter than previous iPads, and can even be uncomfortable to use. Some have even claimed that it goes into ‘cool down mode’ and freezes until it has reached a stable temperature.
In this condition, some users feel uncomfortable. But there was also the feeling it doesn't matter, considering just warm and can be tolerated.
This could a serious problem of the new iPad in hotter countries or when you are on the beach or somewhere warm.
According to information from iFixit, who had always unpack Apple products, including the new iPad reveals that all of the iPad (iPad, iPad 2 and New iPad ) has a condition that is not far different.
We can tell that reason is that new iPad have unique higher specs given, like the larger capacity of the battery, stronger CPU and GPU, which of course will produce greater heat. And, you know that like other iOS mobile devices, the new iPad does not have cooling fan. On such excess heat conditions, the new iPad is going to auto shut down and display a message notification that the new iPad needs to be cooling down for a moment.
In order to answer the problems and complaints of consumers, Apple needs to be immediately issued an official statement, as well as the solution to no detriment to consumers even further.
Today smartphone is just like a handful personal computer in our palm. You can do almost everything like personal computer does. You can watch movie, listening to music, taking photos, recording video, browsing, gaming on smartphone. Someday with smartphone can do anything the same as personal computer does.
Those smartphone capabilities really need tough long life battery. As you can see that battery life has always been the one major concern to our favorite little Android smartphone companions. Every effort we do to make battery life longger like actively monitoring the energy use settings, killing each and every app that doesn't need to be running, etc. But it seems almost impossible to get more couple hours of battery life
A researcher at Purdue University may have found the main factor behind the smartphone energy goes and if he is right, then our penny pinching app purchases might just be killing our battery life.
Abhinav Pathak, a Purdue-based computer science researcher, claims 75% of the energy used by free apps is spent in downloading ads or uploading user data for advertising purposes while only 10%-30% was used for powering the apps core functionality. With today's power-hungry 3 and 4G devices, one app could drain your battery in a measly 90 minutes!
According to Mr. Pathak's research, the most playing apps, Angry Birds, only uses 20% of it's power consumption to run the display and a whopping 45% to locate a user and download those annoying pop-ups which always seem to drain the battery. Behind the apps process, the 3/4G connection stays active for another 10 seconds and accounts for 28% of all lost energy while playing Angry Birds.
Mr. Pathak suggests that inefficiencies in 3rd party code is to blame for the poor power consumption ratings of many free apps.
The solution, it would seem, would simply be to start paying for our apps and this might just be the impetus Android fans need to start rewarding developers for their hard work. For anyone interested in reading the full paper, follow the link: Fine Frained Energy Accounting on Smartphones
So if he is right the majority of Android user have to buy apps for saving their Android smartphone battery to minimize the apps downloading and uploading while running the apps. That would be mean a paid Android application surely will make your Android battery life running longer than before.

Amazing! The new iPad first pre order stock in not yet even a week from the time of its official announcement, was all sold out. Apple confirmed that the new iPad is prepared for initial order (pre-order) has been sold out. Although the sales nominal has not been released, Apple said that people response to the new iPad has been beyond their estimation charts.
Based on Apple's previous statement mentioned that customers who order the iPad will be get it on the day of the official launch and every customer can order up to two units of the iPad.
But now, the customers who purchase the new iPad pre-order line means will get the device for longer time than those who were waiting in line to buy it in the store. People pre-ordering Apple's new iPad online to avoid the release-day crowds at stores will have to wait longer to get their hands on the devices.
Apple says that due to high demand, it has been forced to put back delivery times for online buyers.
Those ordering online will now be restricted to a maximum of two devices, and will have to wait until Monday 19 March 2012, rather than getting deliveries on the launch date of Friday 16 March because demand for the new version of the tablet is "off the charts", according to an Apple spokesperson. Nice starts for Apple for their achievement so far with new iPad.
The Androidpit has published the comparing video side by side of iPad 2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 which clearly wanted to let YOU be the judge to make a smart decision before buy one of those tablets. The guy on the video talk about comparing two tablets running 5 same applications with different Operating System, so people able to honestly think that applications look better on and decide which tablet that runs smoother, faster performance.
We can see that iPad 2 with IOS 5 runs the apps with better look, smoother, and faster loading than Galaxy Tab 10.1. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Android Honeycomb run the apps with unpleasant lags and longer loading than iPad 2, especially when opening the you tube and GPS maps. Clearly the Apple iPad 2 is the winner.
The fact that updated news on Samsung's official web site really seems to be happen. According to the latest information from Samsung's web, the Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone which has scooped up a great successful global sales, will soon receive ICS operating system update. Yes, on 10 March 2012, later operating systems on Galaxy S II can be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwiches.
But today we saw the opposites news on Androidpit, first the Samsung's official website has posted the news that Galaxy S2 update ICS will be rolled out this 10 March, but then Androidpit says that Samsung twitter account has just denied everything they had posted on their official website.
Samsung reported that the news of Galaxy S2 update to ICS this March 10th date was accidentally published on its Filipino website. They says that the ICS upgrade date for Galaxy S2 has not yet been decided on. So we have to wait to see the real next news on Samsung Twitter for real news. Be patience guys!

The new Android 4.0 tablet speculation soon will be presented with the Google trademark again just like Nexus smartphone. According to the latest rumor as reported by the blog Android and Me, it is said that the biggest internet company, Google, has partnered with Taiwan's computer giant, Asus, to make a high tech new 7 inches tablet
This device is expected to be cheap as 199 USD and will be powered with the Tegra 3 processor which brings quad-core power, and the main interest feature is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the system operations.
According to a source blog, it seems that Google is very impressed with a tablet that Asus announced earlier, the Asus Memo, which affordable prices is in the range of 249 USD.
Still according to the source, Google is rumored to have reached out his hands to the Asus and the hope is that the Taiwan computer giant vendor able to reduce the material cost so that it could achieve a very affordable price point, which is 199 USD.
Till now Google does not give the name of the product yet. It is indeed not known with certainty. Would it be called the "Google Play" such a speculation is growing at the moment. We just wait.
As we know that Google was officially announced Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on October 18th 2011 for developers to start building apps for the new platform. And the next month later Google made it available as an open source download and people was introduced by the launch of the first mobile device with the new OS version installed, the Galaxy Nexus. The next is the Nexus S as the previouse Google phone which is the only other smartphone to be receiving an official update to ICS.
It seems that what the Verge was write is true that "Google is having its Ice Cream Sandwich and eating it too, but users are left hungry".
When HTC response to Google to questions about upgrades for its older smartphones, Google said that they were "reviewing the features and functionality" of the new operating system and evaluating the viability of updates. Was this the sign that HTC really kept out of the loop until the code was publicly detailed and released under an open source license? It's possible.
There are rumors of Google choosing favorites among Android manufacturers by providing early access to its next OS for some but not others have been heard, but we shouldn't place all the blame for these delays on Google's side.
Google doesn't make a habit of enforcing exclusives, of course, but its own active involvement in the Android upgrade process seems to mirror Apple's behavior with the iPhone: get the hero device out with the new OS, update the previous hardware generation, and focus on delivering a cohesive user experience that's recognizably yours. Android phone owners are left at the mercy of quixotic phone makers and myopic carriers.
The one party that isn't gaining anything in this unholy muddle is the user. The term "Android" still encompasses the full range of devices running the operating system, from the Acer Liquid Express to the ZTE Blade II, and yet we're sat watching as a two-stage software update roadmap develops. One is for Google's own, the Motorola Xooms and the Galaxy Nexuses and the other is for everyone else, leaving Android phone owners at the mercy of quixotic phone makers and myopic carriers. Needless to say, that's not the way it should be.
If Google is in charge of the Android project, it should accept responsibility for all of it, because that's how the rest of the world perceives it. And if it's not, it should come clean by clearly defining which devices will and won't benefit from its "express new OS" service. The Android users really want to know what's going on the Android 4.0 rumors.
Apple Inc. in this near future will soon announce it's most eagerly awaited latest tablet. Although they are not yet officially announced, some level of rumour of slick features which would be present in that device.
The most Apple iPad 3 features which known would be present are the Retina Display screen 9.7 inches with pretty high resolution 2.048 x 1.536 pixels, A6 quad-core processor , 4 G LTE connectivity features in addition to the 3 G and Wi-Fi. IPad 3 Casing also is rumored to have been redesigned, now claims approximately 1 mm thicker and heavier than the iPad 2.
With a variety of rumors which tell different vantage points, the next Apple tablet is deservedly the most-desired by most fans.
Well, interestingly the released video about iPad 3 Concept Features from AatmaStudio have been uploaded to video sharing website Youtube. In the video it shows some interesting ideas intended for the iPad 3 in the future. As the main feature a screen Retina Display which edge-to-edge border is very thin with 3D capability.
The internal magnetic of NFC capability for wider and bigger view when joining iPad 3 together simultaneously, integrated projector, hologram screens, and much more.
As additional information before these, the same company i.e. Aatma Studio also have uploaded a stunning feature concept video for iPhone 5, and the video has even been viewed over 46 million times. Wow this is truly advanced technology from Apple and this is better than it's competitor.
Who wants a smartphone with extra-large screen size? well, I don't. It does seem like tablet to me and your hand will get tired fast when holding a big screen size smartphone for too long. But extra larga screen smartphone has been the world mobile device trend lately. Many vendors have been presenting smartphones with extra large screen lately, but not with Nokia and Apple
The phenomenon of smartphone with extra-large screen lately is stupid idea says Niklas Savander of Nokia. Via Pocketlint, Savander said that the time will come when mobile device users realize that having a mobile phone with an extra large screen it is a stupid thing.
Savander did not mention when that time happens. It is clear himself argued that the advances in technology can be achieved, not just simply make the screen larger. "It's hard to say when it will happen, but progress should be related dengap new technology what can we create, not just about making a bigger screen." says Savander.
So far by now Nokia and Apple do not follow the extra large screen size smartphone trends that occurred in the United States. Just take a look at Nokia Lumia 900 which comes with a relatively smaller screen (4.3 inches), and iphone 4S with 3.5 inches rather than some it's competitors that comes with an extra screen up ranging from 4.6, 4.75, even 5.3 inches.
