SonicGear Evo 5 Platinum is the successor to the previous series, namely SonicGear Evo 5. Judging from the side of design ,Evo 5 Platinum still using wood materials ,but now with a layer of metal on the front of its subwoofer and tweeter . Additional metal material adds an elegant and luxurious reliability of this 2.1 speakers.
Evo 5 Platinum comes with a subwoofer with dimensions of 5-inch, 3-inch driver and 1-inch tweeter. At the front, you will see six buttons for volume adjustment, FX mode, bass, and mute.
Feature graph display will be retained with a change in which, now no longer display graphics to the rhythm of the music played bass.
When testing, we had difficulty to adjust the high voice and bass, since there are no indicators to determine how much volume and bass settings are used. From the design may look nice, but from the user experience it was difficult.
These speakers are capable of playing various musical genres well. Sound output at the low, mid, and able to come out with a natural high. One thing that was disturbing is that when a high volume, the sound is becoming broken and not round. In addition, the absence of treble settings button, sharpness good sound. Lack of this feature a little relieved by the presence of FX mode.
